Rebecca (Becky) Southern brings proven skills in hospital operations, P&L management and strategic development. In addition she leads implementation of new programs, product line management and process design.
She is a Registered Nurse with executive nursing experience. During Becky’s 25+ year career, her experience includes serving as a CNO, leadership of a 400 bed acute care teaching hospital, extensive outpatient services experience, development of community programs and home health services.
Becky combines this unique set of skills and experience with her training in Lean-Six Sigma in developing effective and practical solutions for our healthcare clients.
Prior to joining Caldwell Butler, Becky worked with George Group where she supported efforts to introduce Lean-Six Sigma to Army MEDCOM. She was assigned to the North Atlantic Regional Command in improving the Medical Evaluation Board Process for wounded warriors. Becky spent 13 years at Boca Raton Community Hospital in a variety of roles including Vice President of Nursing/Patient Care Services. During her tenure she led the Enterprise Excellence Initiative - a team created to assist in the design and construction of a 550 bed, 700 million dollar replacement teaching hospital to ensure that Lean Sigma principles were integrated into the new facility.
Becky received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y. and has a Masters degree in Nursing Administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
